What's in the box.
2 x running meters mesh fabric for OEM wind deflectors
1 x repair manual 

What tools are needed?
1 x small flathead screwdriver
1 x scissors
1 x sharp knife
1 x rubber hammer

With two running meters of mesh, you'll have more than enough fabric to repair a windshield, and there is even room for error. We use less than one meter ourselves for the repair of a windshield.

How difficult is the repair?
NORMAL - The deflector has special retainer clips. Be careful when removing them, as they tend to break. 

Which wind deflectors can be repaired?
All types of deflector whose mesh is secured with a rubber gasket can be repaired. Both original and aftermarket. Original (OEM) wind deflectors are often foldable so they can be stored in the boot /trunk. 

What can not be repaired?
Spare parts for original windshields are unfortunately not available. A broken hinge or frame cannot be repaired. In this case we recommend to buy a new windscreen. Please do contact us for more information!

Repairing the windshield – a short description.
Generally speaking, it is easy to repair a windscreen.

1. Carefully remove the rubber gasket and remove the old mesh.
2. Place the new mesh over the frame and reattach the gasket by hand.
3. Cut off the excess mesh and secure the rubber gasket with the mallet.

The set comes with an extensive manual with clear images. We have an installation video to demonstrate how easy it is to do.
